Referring Veterinarians

We greatly appreciate our referring veterinarians and strive to be a ready resource for consults and information. We are happy to assist as little or as much as deemed necessary. After every examination, a summary letter will be faxed back to the referring veterinarian’s office.

Referrals

When making a referral, please fill out one of our referral forms and fax it back to us. Please attach any recent blood work and/or information about chronic conditions. It is preferred that the client call our office to set up the appointment so as to better coordinate a time with their schedule.

Continuing Education

In the coming months, Dr. Laratta and Dr. Huskey will be offering continuing education courses at different locations in the Nashville and Middle Tennessee area. These short "CE Breakfasts" will cover different diseases, procedures, and treatments within veterinary ophthalmology useful to referring veterinarians. We will have more information about this soon.

Communications

Our practice primarily uses faxing to send summary letters and other communications to our referring vets, but we're exploring emailing options. If you have an email address (for you or your practice) that you would like us to add to our files for future use, please submit it using the form below. (We will continue sending our letters via fax for now.)
